Supporter Page
I hope you're having a great Friday! I'm excited to let you know that we've recently revamped our supporter pages. To access them, simply look for the new icon on the navigation bar for supporter and subscriptions.
The newly updated supporter pages come with a lot of great features, including statistics on the number of donations made by each supporter, their largest donation amount, and more.
At everfund, we are always working on improving our platform and have many more exciting enhancements planned for the months ahead.
We would greatly appreciate your feedback on how we can make everfund even better. Thanks for your support!
Subscription Page
Our team has been working on rebuilding our payment system, and as a result, we made the decision to deprecate our current supporter pages. Unfortunately, this means that you can no longer see who has donated through recurring giving.
However, we have good news to share - we have developed a new subscription page that allows you to view the number of active subscriptions your nonprofit organization has. What's more, we've added summary stats onto each subscription, which means that you can easily see how many times an individual supporter have donated, the total donation amount, and how much your nonprofit receives after fees processing.
We truly believe that this is just the beginning of providing you with better insights into your donation revenue. We hope that this new feature will be helpful for you and your organization, and we're excited to continue improving everfund.
Donation Widgets
Exciting news from Everfund! We are now splitting our Donation links and Donation widgets into two different types of donation channels. While they currently work interchangeably, we are moving forward with customized feature sets. This means that viewing a donation link will give you the ability to easily share it on social media and generate a QR code. Creating a donation widget will also be a breeze, as we provide you with the code and instructions on how to implement it into any framework of your choice. We can't wait to see the impact these changes will have on your fundraising efforts!
If you currently use a donation link on your website, we will be reaching out to you soon with a migration path to convert it to a donation widget
Better Exporting
New exporting for reports including payouts, donations, tax relief, new supporters and more.
Everfund Payment System v2
We're thrilled to announce the release of our latest update, which took three months to develop. Christopher developed a simple donation system and subsequently improved it by implementing hot fixes and adding like new BACS direct-debits. When we began processing more payments and expanding our support to non-profits and international countries, we encountered several flaws and issues with reliability. As a result, we rebuilt the system from scratch, incorporating the lessons we learned from developing and maintaining v1.
New Covering Fee Algorithm : Everfund has rebuilt our covering fee algorithm from the bottom up, with focus on pinpoint accuracy, international support and now the ability to cover the fees on Recurring Payments.
Enhanced reliability: The system has been rebuilt to increase stability and minimize downtime. This results in faster payment processing, fewer errors, and improved email reliability..
Early international payment support: Users can send and receive donations globally, speak with us about supporting your country next
Faster feature deployment: The rebuild enables faster release of new functionalities.
Rebuilt Everfund's Onboarding flow
If you're already familiar with everfund, you may not notice the changes in this update. However, if you're a first-time user, you'll be pleased to know that we've completely revamped our onboarding process from the ground up.
Our new onboarding flows now offer separate paths for developers and non-profits. If you choose the developer path, we'll create a team, template, and donation widget in the background, and provide you with easy installation steps for your website. On the other hand, if you select the non-profit path, you simply need to choose your team name, and we'll generate a donation link and template for you.
We're constantly working on improving everfund, so stay tuned for even more enhancements in the near future.
Stabilisation Effort
Everfund has been working tirelessly since the start of the year to enhance the platform's stability and user experience. The following improvements have been made:
Create and edit donation goals.
Everfund's dashboard now default timezone and currency based on the non-profit's location.
Test mode has been upgraded and enhanced.
For new users, the account is defaulted to test mode until a bank account has been added to receive live donations.
Everfund's tables have been reconstructed to enable future feature support.
The platform has been migrated to Amazon Web Services for better performance and reliability.
Moreover, we have also made several spelling and grammatical corrections to ensure that the wording is accurate and precise.
